So yeah back to our really small house, since we moved here just over a year ago i've been trying to get my craft space. It has been in the living room, our room, the kitchen and the laundry but nothing worked, I couldn't get my crafting mojo to flow. Then one night I was watching telly and a thought just popped into my head. What about Ladybug's room??? (Ladybug is Ella) Matt thought I was possessed or something as I took off like a Bondi tram to her room to measure and see if it would fit and it would!

Before I got into the room it was simply a play room for Ladybug, somewhere where she could be safe and play. There was a heap of wasted space in there, the giant flowery thing in the corner is an old double bed mattress that Matty doesn't want to get rid of. This is going to live in the shed and one day just get lost in the bin when he isn't looking ;-))
I am happy with the layout now I need to co-ordinate everything. Yes I am one of those crafters that loves to have things fit together. I am a bit of a vintage junky and I love to re purpose things! Above my craft desk is a framed mermaid picture, its all pretty and sparkly in really bright colours. I will take colour inspiration from there.
